Artists from every background are invited to submit their artwork, and through our submission process, the art is transformed into authenticated ArtPics art cards, encapsulated and preserved to museum-quality standards. Submitting is simple and our team handles the encapsulation and selling your art in our ArtPics Marketplace, where collectors are eager to buy collectible art cards.
Meet Our Founder – Gareb Shamus
ArtPics was founded by Gareb Shamus, a longtime creative visionary whose influence spans live events, original art, publishing, and entertainment.
Prior to ArtPics, Gareb built a remarkable legacy in pop culture and collectibles. He is best known as the founder and publisher Wizard: The Comics Magazine, Anime Insider, ToyFare, and InQuest Gamer magazines which transformed the superhero genre worldwide. Gareb founded Comic Con as we know it today, having produced over 200 live events, bringing fans, creators, and icons together in one of the largest pop-culture event experiences.
Gareb is also an established contemporary painter known for dynamic, three-dimensional textures and a proprietary painting technique designed to engage the viewer. His art reflects optimism, thoughtful design, and a belief that creativity is culturally connected to all facets of life.
Gareb’s passion for art and community extends beyond his own work - he’s worked with thousands of artists globally and is committed to elevating their opportunities by offering innovative ways to own their original creations and reach collectors everywhere.
